Directions to Tockwith FC

Take the B1224 Wetherby Road out of York. Go through Rufforth and Long Marston. Outside the Sun Inn in Long Marston there is a sign pointing to Tockwith. IGNORE IT.

Stay on the Wetherby road through Bilton in Ainsty. 1.9 m after the Sun Inn there is a cricket ground on the left and a second sign pointing right to Tockwith. Take this turning. The Football club is 0.9 miles along that road on the left. The club house has a red roof and it looks a little like a church. As you approach you will see the sign, Tockwith Bowls Club. Turn into the small car park (get there early!) and the pitches are in front to the right.

This ground is further away than you think. It takes 20-25 minutes from the centre of York even if there is no traffic. It is only about 5 miles from Wetherby. Please allow plenty of time.
