From the City
Go out from the city along the inner ring road and take the A1036 Malton Rd (signposted Malton). At the Heworth Rd - Stockton Lane roundabout, bear left in the direction of Monks Cross.  Stay on the A1036 after the the turn to Monks Cross and the entrance to the playing fields is on the left. If you get to the Hopgrove Pub on the right you have gone too far


From the northern ring road
Take the A1036 (York). This is the turning after Monks Cross if travelling from Earswick etc. Follow Malton Rd past the Hopgrove pub and the fields are on the right before the roundabout.
