York Cubs is a community and family based FA Charter Standard club run to provide facilities and competitive football for boys and girls aged 7 to 13.

We are well organized and well run with 17 FA coaches (two qualified to level 2), two 11 a side and four mini-soccer pitches, with changing rooms and a club house. York Cubs is a fun club for our children and small enough for parents to feel involved in running junior football. All of us have a great time whether we be playing, helping, organizing or watching.

At the core of our identity is a family atmosphere where our children learn their football through encouragement and good coaching. Through this we have been successful on and off the field.

Last season our under 9s won four titles including retaining the league championships and our under 12s won the League Cup and Rawcliffe tournament. But more than that, our other age groups produced excellent performances all season and played the game the right way.

We are greatly assisted by our sponsors (right) who have been very supportive of us over the seasons and share in our success.

Our playing season for 2008-09 is now drawing to an end, but if you are currently aged between 7 and 13 and you want to play for a great team, why not drop our coaches an e-mail at the address shown in Coaching & Coaches and we'll invite you over.

So can you kick it? With us you can!
